There's no question that Drew Barrymore is a little hottie hippy. She has an unmistakable beauty, and a talent for the roles she plays. Her well publicized fall from grace at such a young age, followed by her terrific comeback is a heartwarming story of redemption.And while I hate to spend my 300th post being mean about a celebrity, especially one as cute and genuinely nice as Drew Barrymore, I have to seriously question what she was thinking during her visit to Jay Leno recently.
The first thing that looked scary was her teeth. They were quite literally brown. This cell phone captured image doesn't truly show the extent of the brownness, but it just wasn't good on any level.
Drew also made the odd choice of showing up with a dead black Muppet stapled to her dress. A bizarre look that avoided making a statement, but did in fact ask the question; WTF?
She also seems to have hired the make up artist responsible for Lindsey Lohan, who apparently took a dollop of black paint and smeared it over her eyes, creating the look of a 50-year-old former actress.
Then a person that I have to assume was blind, took her beautiful hair and fashioned it into one of the ugliest styles I've ever seen.
Frankly, some people need to be shot, or at the very least fired. Making Drew Barrymore look like Linsay Lohan's mother on a bad day is a difficult and challenging proposition. But sadly a group of 'professionals' managed to achieve just that.
It is very sad to see Drew Barrymore looking like she is one bad party away from becoming Amy Winehouse. Let's hope this was just an unfortunate glitch and that normal Drew will resume post haste.
