Michael Moore's new movie Slacker Uprising is now available online for free (for Americans and Canadians). Making history as the first movie from a major producer to be given away for free online.
It's an interesting and moving movie. A tribute in parts to the sacrifice of the lives of brave American troops that George Bush has helped kill.
The movie chronicles the 2004 election campaign, when Michael Moore toured America trying to encourage students and other young people to get out and vote. We get to see the Republican machine in action doing everything they could to prevent him from exercising his free speech.
It's too bad that John Kerry ran such a poor campaign, or maybe Bush's horrific eight years could have been cut in half.
In all fairness to Michael Moore he openly shows some of his detractors in this movie, without bias or comment.
It's a good movie, not one of his best, but then what do you expect for free?
