Arnold 'The Governator' Schwarzenegger Talks About Prop 8

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (pictured here not wearing his skin) has weighed in on the Proposition 8 debate in California.

During the election last week Californians voted by the thinnest of margins to discriminate against homosexual couples and ban them from getting married, which had been made legal earlier in 2008.

Schwarzenegger, a Republican who had previously opposed the notion of gay marriage, appeared to have updated his stance on the issue, and encouraged protesters telling CNN "it's not the end."

It's nice to see Republicans who are not driven by bigotry and hate. Thumbs up to The Governator.

California Bans Gay Marriage

It's a great day for the country, but unfortunately for the gay community their fight for equality continues to be an uphill battle.

California narrowly passed Proposition 8 yesterday, a ban of gay marriage. The measure was passed by just 52%.

Ironically, it seems that liberals may have been the problem here. Black voters who showed up in large numbers to support President Elect Barack Obama, were most opposed gay marriage. 70% of black voters, supported Proposition 8.

California GOP Files Complaint Against Obama

With each passing day one wonders if Republicans can stoop any lower in their dishonorable campaign.

Yesterday, in an attempt to win the biggest douche award, the California GOP filed an FEC complaint against Barack Obama, because he flew to see his dying grandmother in Hawaii last week.

The complaint alleges that Obama used his campaign funds to finance the trip.

An asshole spokesperson said, "Obama for America violated federal law by converting its campaign funds to Senator Obama's personal use," the release stated. "Senator Obama recently traveled to Hawaii to visit his sick grandmother. This was the right thing for any grandson to do -- at his own expense -- but it was not travel that his campaign may fund."

You'd think human decency would suggest waiting until after the funeral, and after the election.
